The ICT And Services Conference Ends In UBD

Bandar Seri Begawan - The four-day conference on identifying and establishing a National Information Knowledge Resource Agenda for change that was held at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) ended yesterday.

 

The conference identified the pivotal role that information and communication technology and services play in modern society.

 

The Assistant Vice Chancellor General of UBD Dr Awang Haji Kassim who was the personal representative of the Vice Chancellor officially closed the conference.

 

There was also a presentation of certificates to the eleven foreign lecturers that were invited to the conference.

Local academics and other participants were also honoured with appreciation certificates.

 

The historical transformation of information, communication and global interdependence are deemed irrepressible components in people's daily life.

 

The conference is appropriately timed to support the implementation of the various e-Government initiatives to provide donation with efficient and effective services for its people.
