 Bandar Seri Begawan - e-Government
Program Executive Committee (EGPEC) held its eighth meeting at Al Mahabah Conference Room, Ministry of Communications on Wednesday, 3 July 2002.
The meeting was chaired by the Permanent
Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, Yang Mulia
Dato Paduka Awg Haji Hazair
bin Haji Abdullah. Also present were members of EGPEC
comprised of all the Permanent Secretaries from each Ministries,
Directors and Senior government officers.
 The main discussion during the meeting
were presentation on Establishing ICT Government Linked Companies (GLCs) through outsourcing approach presented by Senior
Counsel from Attorney General's Chambers, report on proposed EG Center
Services, report on Ministerial IS/IT progress and presentation on The
Electronic Land Transport Information System (e-Latis)
presented by Special Duties Officer from Ministry of Communications.
