e-Government Program Executive Committee 3rd meeting

Bandar Seri Begawan - E-Government Program Executive Committee (EGPEC) held its third meeting at Al Mahabah Conference Room, Ministry of Communications on Saturday, 2 February 2002.

 

The meeting was chaired by the Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, YM Dato Paduka Awg Haji Hazair bin Haji Abdullah .Also present were members of EGPEC comprised of all the  Permanent Secretaries from each Ministries, Directors and Senior government officers.

 

Among the topics discussed during the meeting were the IT 2001 survey on the use of IT in the government ministries and departments, E-Government Organisational and Technological Infrastructure Working Group Report and E-Government Actions Plans.

 

The EGPEC action plan in process is the forthcoming IS/IT Implementation workshop to all ministries and departments to guide them in preparing their respective IS/IT Plan to be aligned with the National IT Strategic Plan.
